Alamo, TX Jose A. Alvarado, 82 of Alamo, TX, entered into rest Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Comfort House in McAllen, Texas. He was born in Mexico, son of Pedro and Petra (Leura) Alvarado. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Maria Medrano; sons, Eulogio Alvarado Juarez, Emiliano (Maria Mirna) Alvarado Juarez; step-sons, Magdaleno Villanueva Medrano and Fernando Villanueva Medrano; his nephew, Emilio Alvarado Perez; brother, Matias Alvarado; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on Friday, February 14 at Duddlesten Funeral Home until time of rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church , 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville, TX on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo, Raymondville, TX.
