Homer L. Navarro

February 9, 1951 - April 12, 2022

Raymondville, Texas Homer L. Navarro, 71 of Raymondville, TX, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at home with his family at his side. He was born on February 9, 1951 in McAllen, Texas, son of Armando and Azucena "Suzie" Navarro who precede him in death. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Nora Navarro; daughter, Marissa Ann Navarro; son, Mario E. Navarro; sisters, Angie (Ed) Navarro Downs, Ruth (Joe) Navarro Cox, and Liz Holescher; his nephews, Michael Holescher and Josh Vera. Homer graduated from Raymondville High School and continued his education at A& I University in Kingsville. After two years, he came home to help with the family business, Raymondville Auto Supply. From there, he worked at Burton Auto Supply and he later continued his employment with Oreilly Auto Parts for 13 years. Homer was an avid golfer and spent time with friends at the golf course. He was a humble man, enjoyed a simple life and loved being with his family. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 with family receiving guests after 5:00 pm at Duddlesten Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Homer's life will be held at Duddlesten Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. Private interment will be held at a later time. The family requests that memorials may be made to the Raymondville Municipal Golf Course, 142 S. Seventh St., Raymondville, Texas 78580. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 West Hidalgo, Raymondville, Texas.
