Raymondville, TX Evangelina Cruz Caballero, 67 of Raymondville, TX, entered into rest on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Valley Baptist Medical Center, with her family at her side. She was born in Raymondville, TX, daughter of Bartolo and Elvira (Salinas) Cruz. She is preceded in death by her father, Bartolo and daughter, Rosalinda Caballero. Evangelina will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Luis Caballero; sons, Luis Caballero, Jr., Rene Caballero, all of Raymondville; daughter, Elisa Martinez of Laredo; brothers, Joe Cruz, Demetrio Cruz, Ricardo Cruz, Noe Cruz, Trino Cruz, Alberto Cruz, and Bartolo Cruz, Jr.; sisters, Ninfa Pena, Valentina Reyes, Maria Fuentes, Juana Gomez; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Duddlesten Funeral Home, until time of rosary at 7:00 p.m, which will be recited by Zeke Martinez. Funeral services will be held at Duddlesten Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon Juan Gonzales officiating, followed by interment in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville, TX Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Luis A. Caballero, Jose De Jesus Reyes, Cesar Reyes, Rene Caballero, Jose Luis Martinez and Serjio Alejo. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Raymondville, TX.
