He was born on March 10, 1952 in Guam son of Elton and Adell (Walker) Robertson who precede him in death. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Darrell is survived by his son, James Lee Robertson; daughter, Samantha (Marc) Mathis; brother, Eric Robertson; grandchildren; Joseph, Robert, Linda, Alissa, Allie and Kiren Mathis, Lance, Serenity and Raven Hapeman. Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 West Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas.
