Raymondville,Texas Damacio Olvera, Sr. 93 of Raymondville, Texas, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Valley Baptist Medical Center. He was born on December 11, 1928 in Raymondville, Texas, son of Pedro and Christina (Villareal) Olvera who precede him in death, along with sons, Martin and Damacio Olvera, Jr. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Santos Olvera, Roberto Olvera, Juan Augustin Olvera, Sr., Juan Moreno Olvera; daughters, Guadalupe Escamilla, Rosalinda Franco; 29 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at Duddlesten Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville, Texas on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 West Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas.
